Contemporary jewellery transcends this local heritage by creating a more global understanding.<\/p>\n<p>All inhabitants of the Global Village have grown up with cultural roots expressed in local art, design and architecture. However, &#8220;modern nomads&#8221; are at risk of losing the inner link to their original background.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop considered each participant\u2019s personal cultural origin, by researching local specifics in their art and design. With this in mind the participants designed new pieces of jewellery.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> To navigate on a PC or notebook, please use the forward and back arrows of the keyboard
